I became a co-opted governor in September 2015 and am the link governor for English.  Both of my children attend Broomfield, my daughter is currently in Year 6 and my son in Year 3.  I also attended Broomfield myself, so my connection with the school goes back a long way!! 

I work in Human Resources for a public sector body and my role involves the delivery of a proactive service that adds value and delivers effective business-focussed solutions. I work collaboratively with the business to drive organisational change; people planning and enable continuous improvement.  I am currently completing my ILM recognised Mediation course. 

When I am not working, family life is busy.  I am married to Colin and as well as our two children we have a very fluffy cat and a very energetic Springer Spaniel.  When I have a minute to myself, I love escaping to the Moors and walking the dog, catching up with friends and I have recently started a Tai Chi class.
